November was an awesome month! Our children remind us daily of our favorite words and Ali must hear the word awesome a few times a day, because, it has become her favorite new word. She sounds so cute when she squeals "Mommy that is awesome!" Ali, Trinity and I enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the Zoo. Wayne and Justin have enjoyed several glorious duck and deer hunts already this season too. Hence, the photos of the kids next to the morning's prize. Ali is begging to "shoot ducks" with Daddy. Not sure that she gets the concept; however, sitting next to the bounty doesn't seem to affect her. In fact, she is quite the outdoorsman. Grammy nearly went into orbit as Ali dangled a dead mouse by the tail that she had plucked from a sticky trap in the garage. Living in the country is grand! One of Justin's chores is to scoop up after the dogs in the backyard and as you will see here he enlists his sister every chance that he gets. Some how she gets stuck holding the bag. Early one Saturday morning we spent some time at the local Pumpkin Patch to bring home the perfect pumpkin and take a seat on a fire truck. Trinity napped in the sunshine from her stroller. Justin's school carnival was a huge fundraising success. His class supplied the cupcake walk. The morning was full of frosting and flour as we baked and iced four dozen cupcakes. Ali was a big help in the kitchen! Oh, one more adventure included a long ride in the car to a beautiful piece of property that Wayne considered a deer and duck hunting haven. At one point all five of us rode the four wheeler in search of the the pond! The kids and i enjoyed collecting pine cones and listening to the sound of the outdoors. But, our most exciting weekend yet included watching our nephew dedicate his life to our Lord Jesus Christ! We were able to spend the morning with Bryan as he announced to the world through baptism that he has given his heart to Christ, has turned from his sins and that he will tell the world about his Lord and Savior!!!

Melanie,
You have such a beautiful family with so many adventures going on. I know that when you look in the mirror each day and see each one of those beautiful faces that you helped create; you know that you are blessed beyond what you will ever know.
I wish I was able to have been much closer growing up and some of what you have could have rubbed off on me and my family. It is amazing the directions we take when we venture out on our own.
Thank you for sharing your blog and family with me. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.
Kove,
Kristin
