Merry Christmas!

We celebrated a beautiful Christmas this year. Wayne's Mom and Step Dad drove in the week prior to Christmas to visit with Brenda's family and ours. The kids can't get enough of Grandma Sue or Grandpa Billy. I always dread the withdrawl the kids suffer from when they leave; especially Trinity who hasn't been set alone in days. Actually, in the past week, Trinity has learned to sit up nearly unassisted. She is also trying to scoot along the floor during tummy time. She has so many new toys that she doesn't know which way to turn first.

Santa heard Justin and Ali's pleas for Pixos and a Pony and hauled both to the Orchard household on Christmas Eve. Christmas Eve was complete with a heart felt candlelight service at church followed by the traditional tamale dinner at Ed and Brenda's. Pastor Steve read the story of Jesus birth after a headlining Jason Castro sang "White Christmas" and played the ukulele. After opening gifts we rushed home to sprinkle reindeer food on the lawn and hop into bed in time for Santa's surprise midnight visit.

Christmas dinner was at our house complete with all the fixings; Wayne outdid himself again. We have truly cherished each moment of visiting with family and friends and always enjoy seeing each of your smiling faces in each Christmas card. Have a wonderful and safe New Year's Eve and we look forward to making many more memories in the new year!
